Summer Midges
« on: September 08, 2013, 05:34:37 PM »
to start a random conversation;
I'm quite prone to itching badly to midge bites, and being the end of summer, probably lots of people have had their run ins with the buggers over the last few months.
It seems that rubbing banana skin (inside of) on the bite really calms the itch down (knowledge courtesy of Terry). this was very handy for me to know as usually, a banana is somewhere inside my bag, squished or unsquished its the skin that i needed. This led to many happy(ier) evenings out than expected.
Any other tips/advices from ye all?
PEACE,
Theo
