Conditions in The Cave

I know it's always a seepage lottery but has anyone been up this summer?

I don't think it has much to do with seepage - just need a breeze/wind blowing across the cave and it'll dry

James and I were there a week ago and the air was totally still - the Cave was soaked - on a windier day it would have been worth waiting around for it to dry -

A greater concern might be the height of the sand!!! Bring your bucket and spade!!

Anyone been to the cave lately, dry or skagging?

Skagging! I was out there yesterday evening but everything was wet and there was nothing you could get on really. Saying that, it probably wasn't the best tide for it.

It was minging.

This was my first visit. What do you locals think of the place? Is it consistently spooge-central, and are the pebbles usually so high?

The rock looked interesting to climb on, so it'd be a shame if it was out most of the time.

IT's been pretty good for the last couple of summers, would seep for periods but in general dry.  It was hard to predict though, probably something to with tide height and/or easterly winds.  Sand height, usually the holds would be at about 7 foot so nice to climb on.  Seems to have got pasted over the winter or summer...

Thanks for the heads up - I'll maybe swing by again if locals report a drop in the pebbles.

Was out there today. Alot of the holds were damp and some were seeping. The floor level is really low so many  of the sit starts are now stands
