Updated Topos for Doolin
« on: March 26, 2014, 12:31:45 AM »
Hey Folks,

Here are the latest topos for the changed areas at Doolin: The New Zoo and Base Camp:

If you're down that way and put up a few more let me know and I'll stick 'em on the map. Grading is pretty hap-hazard so any input there'd be appreciated too.

The former Cave Area further north of has also seen significant changes; the whole roof collapsed!! There are a few new problems climbed there and more to do. Will try get some sort of topo up for that area soon.

Overall, it seems like Doolin has improved with a greater number of problems at least at the 5/low 6s grades. Might be a few harder things too.

Couple of new problems added.

Still need to confirm some grade, particularly the 6's.

The cave area has problems but no topo yet.

Also, I know some Galway climbers have been out so if they want to contact me and let me know what they've done that'd be great.

Dropbox cancelled the old ones  :-[

There's a few new bits and pieces too, including a possible 6b face problem. Again, if you're down that way let me know what you think of the grades.

Just commenting as a bookmark. I'll be climbing in Doolin a lot in future and topos would be helpful.
