Just for the benefit of Dave Flanagan - polls can be turned on in the forum to allow voting so potentially you could have a thread per problem with a voting mechanism. Not very elegant perhaps but do-able for a selection of "test case" problems.

Its very easy to set up a wiki (Mediawiki) and allow collaborative editing if you want total free-form

I guess you have some sort of database behind your new problems submission page. This could be extended to include all known problems as per your guide and updates and then code up a voting mechanism based on that.

Personally I use Gill's B-grades if anyones interested, which you're not so I'll fuck off...  ;D

[Edit: polls are already enabled - just do New Poll instead of New Thread if anyone wants to see how it works]

Bouldering guide about to be sold out!!! That's a great problem to have and a great verdict on the publication. Well done Dave.

Dave (Ayton) - just noticing that you use secure URLs (https) with your vid links. If you want the video to play inline just drop the 's' like so:

Karen Doyle from the Maple Clinic is a climber & physical therapist. She'll sort you out. The clinic is based in Booterstown but worth making the effort to get to in my opinion.

Steve's Irish climbers facebook group
Jesus. I'm so wishing its not seen as that. Unfortunately someone had to set it up. I was hoping it was the antidote to climbing.ie. No ads, no moderation etc. Just a collection of climbers. Hoping they would forget or not even think about its origin. Friends inviting/adding friends. And the great thing is that anything posted becomes the problem of Facebook and the poster and not me ::)

Dave, I think the content on your main page is great. Unfortunately the layout makes my eyes bleed. I know I'm not exactly winning any design awards myself. The two column thing doesn't do it for me. If I were tasked with the job I'd look into what Wordpress would give me out of the box so to speak. Never used Wordpress myself but from what I've read it could suit the "theme" of TheShortSpan. I've seen some very nice sites produced with it. Hopefully that doesn't cause any offence cos really none is intended. All the best and keep up the good work.

Can't find it in the directory. Did you publish it? What did you call it under Tapatalk? ShortSpan? Bouldering Ireland?

Suggest any changes as you see fit.
Nice one Dave.

Any chance of installing Tapatalk?  ;)
