Hi James. There isn't a massive amount of developed bouldering in Connemara - check the guide for details - but there is plenty to be done. The best place to meet other climbers in in this Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/458753554165739/ they seem like a nice bunch. Best of luck.

I'm not sure about OSB, maybe someone else might be able to say. I only had to buy a small bit of timber but found that the builders merchants were up to 5 times cheaper than the likes of Woodies. I got my wood in the end from build4less and they delivered for a small fee which was handy.

Maybe it would be easier to write down a list of 7's and 8's and note the known ascentionists beside them?

When I get a chance latter in the week  I will draw up a list of the 7.5-8s and we can figure out what has been done.

I'm going to go ahead with this update. Will probably add in a few tiny areas (Achill, Wicklow Head) and add the problems that have been submitted to the new problem database. So if anyone wants to suggest any changes or updates or highlight mistakes or improvements now is the time to do it.

I agree with both of you, a minor update is the way to go. And hopefully can do a major one in a few years when more new stuff has been discovered...

Would be great to hear some opinions about how I should go about producing the second edition of "Bouldering in Ireland", straight reprint, minor updates, major updates etc?
