Cavalier Attitude was dirty and impossible to clean from the top or bottom so we left it,  looks real nice though. it's climbed on the left side? tough little sit start project on it too. you would also need rope and/or ladders to clean the two project slabs but they look worthwhile. have you explored the opposite side of the valley, before the crag?

thats what i was thinking, how can they legally 'fence off' public property but even if you could climb i'd doubt you would want to with that circus going on.

Bouldering Discussion / Re: Dawes v Boulder Pads
« on: June 01, 2012, 02:03:51 PM »
in my opinion the recent trend of ground upping routes over many pads is a big step up in style to headpointing, ala Life on Hold, Bloc Party second and third ascents etc.

Dawes likes half the battle to be mental so of course he's going to poo poo pads just like he isnt a fan of sport climbing.

if consumer GPS gets more accurate an augmented reality topo is surely the nirvana for a  guidebook app.  8)

i remember having problems with the old pdf guide on my phone (HTC Desire) and some other pdfs but if it works on the majority of devices then stick with that so.

yep good plan, €5 is quite reasonable given the quality of the info. would it be feasible to offer in different formats? my phone certainly handles epub much better than pdfs
