Well, if anyone's interested in checking the area out they should take a look at this Facebook page:

which has some basic info on the crags, including the one in the video.

happy hunting peeps!

Some bouldering to be had above Forkhill in the Ring of Gullion...nothing worth travelling to visit, but good for a wee play if you're local. There's probably some other bits and bobs on the hillside as well as a couple of minor crags with some established routes. The rock is lovely, shame there isn't more of it.

I'm sorry, my irony detector must be on low this afternoon, but did you just use the phrase "king line" in earnest chris?

Rad.

Thanks for the heads up - I'll maybe swing by again if locals report a drop in the pebbles.

It was minging.

This was my first visit. What do you locals think of the place? Is it consistently spooge-central, and are the pebbles usually so high?

The rock looked interesting to climb on, so it'd be a shame if it was out most of the time.

7a+? I had a go at this a while back, felt hard. Then again, the potential for punt sequences and, just punting in general, feature heavily in my bouldering.

Still that amazing high crack to go?

Good job Dave. 2nd edition should be prime - loads of areas just waiting to be fleshed out...

We live in hope Christopher. The question is, where are you trying it from?

All this digging to stand on a little wet pew and hold a barnacle-covered jug. You Dubs crack me up.

Though, I guess with this ethic you could at least make some of the problems in Glendo worth climbing on.
