The combination of freeze-thaw then floods I would think. I'd imagine the Sally Gap is in shit as well. I was heading up towards Carraigshouk from Laragh. Couldn't even get anywhere near the Glenmacnass waterfall. It was quite a sight. Channels about a foot deep gouged out of the road and some enormous potholes. Pretty impassable for all normal cars (though that does depend on how much you care about your car).
